Out

They tell me, “Don’t take the easy way out.”

I ask, “Why not?”

The goal is to be out, not to get out.

(Of course, this is in the context that the easy way out doesn’t violate any morals that the hard way would protect.  But I have had people tell me not to do things a certain way just because it’s easier.)
